Meeting Minutes
Date: March 28th, 2008
We called the meeting to order at
7:50pm.
The following were present:
Kevin Davis, Betty Davis, Darryl Miller, Sherri Miller, Crystal
Williams, Scott Fry, & Patti Fry.
We went over all the rules that are not
covered by the N. H. S. R. A.. (NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL RODEO
ASSOCIATION)
Need to make a change in the wording on
the declaration of a rider in the rough stock.
Need to make a wording change in the
all-around on how many times you must compete.
Their will be a change in the way we do
the draw in the team roping and in ribbon roping. Their
will be a box to mark if you would like to be in the draw or not.
If you are drawn you will be notified and you can make the decision
weather you want to pay that 1/2 of the entry fee if you do not want
to pay than the person that is needing a partner will be responsible
to pay the whole fee.
Kevin raised his starting fee. So now
the committees can if they wish raise their gate fee to $3.00 per
person.
WE WILL HAVE A SUGGESTION BOX
THIS SUMMER.
Fund raisers for the awards fund.
--- Parents rodeo we will have 2
weekends for this. The first weekend will be at Bennington,
Ks. The 2nd weekend will be at Hutchinson.
We are going to add some
different events this year. We are going to add some foot
events for the people that don't ride horses or that don't want to
go fast. For example-- egg toss, balloon race, watermelon
eating contest, apple bob, and do so more pair events. Like
the Great American Race. And a 50 and over age group.
We will be having a silent auction
every weekend. We will be breaking it down by last names.
Example -- A. B. C. D Will be Bennington.
We will be have the Parent Work Cards
again this year. There will be some items added to it. Like
Silent auction
There will be a fee for each punch that
you do not get punched. The fee and the number of punches will be
decided at the next meeting.
